MICs of gentamicin [Gm (a)] and amikacin [AK (b)] for Acinetobacter isolates as determined by the E-test. The MIC was measured as lowest concentration of the antibiotic that inhibits the visible growth of the organism. Mueller-Hinton agar with initial CFU/mL 1.5 × 107 after 24 hours of incubation at 37°C was used as medium.
